Biography

Art has been Sunniva's biggest passion for as long as she can remember. It has become an arena where she can focus and dedicate her time and to develop her skills. Her goal is to one day become a full-time artist.

At the age of ten Sunniva was diagnosed with cancer in her left leg. She had a tumor that required several surgeries and chemotherapy. It was during this time in her life that her passion for drawing really developed as she spent a lot of her time drawing either in bed, in the hospital, or at home. She bravely fought for a year in the hospital and survived cancer. Between the rehabilitation and the fatigue, she had a lot of time to spend studying and practicing her art. 

At the age of 19 she attended two years at HAKU (Hardanger Kunstskole), located in Norheimsund, Norway. She was one of the students of the first class ever to practice at the newly established art school. Today, she is focusing more on her own personal art and working to grow her business.
